Affordable housing is on the rise in Portland! Last month, the Metro Housing Bond Community Oversight Committee published their 2023 Annual Report, sharing new data and analysis of Metro’s progress towards their goal of delivering on 3,900 affordable homes in our region. The 2023 report shows that Metro and it eight implementation partners on currently track to surpass this goal by 800 homes!

We are proud to have four LRS projects represented in the 2023 report: Woodland Hearth, Jamii Court (located on the Portland Value Inn site), the Barbur Apartments, and Garden Park Estates will contribute a collective 364 units of affordable housing to help address the housing crisis in our community. We are very excited to share more about each of these projects as construction progresses!
