January 10, 2025

We are proud to share that LRS interior designers Jenny Baines and Britney Hale, Associate, have a new guest column published in the DJC Oregon! Jenny and Britney have pioneered our firm’s research and application of inclusive design strategies, ranging from Trauma-Informed Design to accessibility to the psychology of biophilia, and more. In this new piece, they share their insights about incorporating Maslow’s hierarchy of needs as a framework to design supportive, fulfilling workplace environments.

DJC Oregon subscribers can check out the article online at this link. Non-subscribers are also welcome to learn more about Britney and Jenny’s work on our website – they published a three-part blog series on this topic recently called “Blueprint for Inclusivity,” based on their presentation for the International Facility Management Association’s 2024 Symposium.
