Palindrome, LRS, and Lango Hansen selected for transformative Port of Ridgefield waterfront redevelopment

November 18, 2024

LRS is thrilled to announce that our development team, led by Palindrome Properties, has been selected for a major waterfront development in Ridgefield, Washington! Our team, which includes landscape architecture firm Lango Hansen, proposed to transform a 41-acre site owned by the Port of Ridgefield into a thriving mixed-use area that includes a mix of residential and commercial space, with apartments in addition to a hotel, offices, retail, and restaurants. The creation of an 8-acre park along Lake River is among the top priorities of the project, and we look forward to collaborating with the City and the community to turn this former brownfield into a vibrant place for people.

“This is a major milestone in the nearly 30-year process to assess and clean up contamination, engage the Ridgefield community, and position the waterfront for future redevelopment to support jobs and quality of life,” Port of Ridgefield CEO Randy Mueller said in a Nov. 12 statement.
