Walla Walla University shares vision to renovate and expand their Student Life and Ministry Center

May 15, 2025

We are pleased to share that our clients at Walla Walla University have officially announced their campaign to create a vibrant new Student Life and Ministry Center (SLMC) in College Place, Washington! This project will renovate and expand Kellogg Hall, an academic building constructed in 1958 that has served many purposes over the decades. This new student-focused space is envisioned as the “living room of campus,” giving a close-knit community of students a multi-purpose space for gathering, learning, worship, and celebration. LRS is thrilled to be collaborating with WWU and Shearer Construction to bring this exciting project to life.

“This Friday afternoon, the space before us lives in our imagination and in architectural renderings. It has taken up residence in the courageous minds of lead donors, brave fundraisers, a wise Board of Trustees, and a visionary former Walla Walla University president. We are gathered here because ‘faith is the conviction of things not seen.’ But now, beginning this summer, we shall see.” – University President Alex Bryan
