98,932 SF, 107 unitsNestled on a 4.38-acre site with a dramatic 70-foot grade change, this 107-unit community brings much needed affordable housing to the coast. The development thoughtfully combines flats and townhomes across eight garden-style buildings, offering a mix of one-, two-, and three-bedroom layouts. Several buildings are nestled into the hillside, creating homes with unique entries from multiple sides and levels.

At the heart of the community, a centralized building serves as a hub for residents, featuring shared common spaces, a community laundry, property management offices, and residential services. Outside, a covered area and adjacent play space allows parents to socialize while overseeing children playing outside.
The design is infused with a relaxed coastal vibe of light tones, particularly blues and whites which create a serene and inviting atmosphere. The community building exemplifies this aesthetic with its soaring vaulted ceiling and expansive windows that frame breathtaking views of the ocean, surrounding woodlands, and open sky. The space seamlessly brings the outdoors in, creating a strong connection to nature throughout.

Across the site, a series of retaining walls create functional outdoor spaces, organized parking, and guide a network of walkways that seamlessly connect the buildings at the west end near Hwy 101 with those ascending the hill to the east. Pedestrian paths extend beyond the community, linking residents to a public nature trail that loops the property’s perimeter and connects to an existing trailhead.
