Congratulations to LRS Principal Emeritus Dan Purgiel and to Associate Kelsey Loverro – both of our colleagues were honored this week at the DJC’s 2024 Phenoms & Icons recognition event in Portland! Phenoms & Icons is a unique awards program that celebrates seasoned, mainstay industry leaders alongside the next generation of Oregon’s AEC leadership.

“Icon” Dan Purgiel has been with LRS for nearly 30 years of his storied career. He was an early force behind the firm’s senior living design work, and has guided the success of projects including LifeBridge Kirkland, Dallas Retirement Village, and Parkview at Terwilliger Plaza.

“Phenom” Kelsey Loverro has been with LRS for 10 years and has already made a huge impact as a rising star and leader on the firm’s interior design team. She has been instrumental to several of LRS’ top award-winning projects including the Travel Portland Visitor Center, Porsche Studio Portland, and Ball Janik Headquarters.
