2024 Promotions: Meet our new Associates and Senior Associates!

LRS is proud to announce the promotion of six architects and designers in 2024!

 

Darcie McConnaha, Senior Associate

Darcie is an interiors project manager who joined LRS in 2003. Her expertise in office and workplace design guides the success of a wide range of interiors projects, from civic office buildings and tenant improvements to large-scale corporate headquarters. Darcie’s past projects include Lewis & Clark Bank Headquarters, Milestone Systems, and Prosper Portland.

 

Amy Smith, Senior Associate

Amy is a Registered Architect and LEED AP who joined LRS in 2002. Senior living is her expertise, and she brings extensive design technology skills and a deep knowledge of building and accessibility code to her work. Amy’s past projects include the Touchmark at the Ranch Memory Care addition, Friendsview Sutton Terrace, and the Resort at the Mountain Spa.

 


Joe Bosnar, Associate

Joe is a Job Captain in the LRS Multifamily Housing Studio. Since joining LRS in 2013, Joe has contributed to a wide variety of residential projects including affordable housing, market-rate apartments, and senior living – including several that have achieved ambitious sustainability goals. Joe’s past projects include Grant Park Village Phase 2 and The Aria, and senior living projects Parkview at Terwilliger Plaza and Touchmark in the West Hills Sky Lodge.

 

Nick Carpenter, Associate

Nick is a Washington State-Registered Architect who has been dedicated to senior living design since joining LRS in 2019. His diverse project background includes K-12 education, civic, and commercial projects in addition to senior living. Nick’s recent work includes The Springs at Happy Valley, Parkview at Terwilliger Plaza, and work for Franke Tobey Jones in Tacoma.

 

Ryan Craney, Associate

Ryan is Registered Architect and a founding member of the LRS Design Lab, leading research into new design technology and supporting our project teams to implement innovative new tools into the design process. He joined LRS in 2015 and has contributed to a wide variety of office and workplace and retail projects including a tenant improvement for Davis Wright Tremaine, BKF II Business Park, and the Wingspan Conference and Event Center.

 

Britney Hale, Associate

Britney is an NCIDQ certified interior designer who specializes in workplace strategy, space planning, and test fits. She is a versatile designer whose work encompasses a variety of civic and commercial office and workplace projects, from space planning studies and master plans to tenant improvements, renovations, and new office buildings. Her recent work includes the Wood Village Municipal Building, KinderCare Headquarters, and several offices nationally for Kittelson & Associates, Inc. including their Portland Headquarters.
